The Way Alcohol is Sold in South Haven May Be Changing



The city of South Haven seems open to the idea of allowing alcohol use and sales on city property. This week the city council approved a request for a change to the city's code of ordinances, and a public hearing is scheduled for February 4th.

That's City Manager Brian Dissette who says restaurants with proper approval and a liquor licenses would be able to sell alcohol in front of their businesses on city sidewalks. Final action by the council will take place following the hearing.
