Good news from the Berrien County Parks Commission is being shared by County Commissioners. There was a six-percent increase to its general funds for 2012, which allowed for park driveways and parking lots to be redone at Madeline Bertrand and Silver Beach. Commissioner John Klimek says unexpected money was given to Love Creek.
The Parks Commission feels entry fees have been very reasonable and will remain the same for 2013.
