Pscholka Firefighter Bill is Signed Into Law

Governor Snyder is signing a bill that protects Michigan's volunteer firefighters. House Bill 4726, sponsored by State Rep. Al Pscholka, prevents the small compensation volunteer firefighters receive from counting as income and threatening unemployment benefits for unemployed volunteers. The bill was approved in the House with a unanimous vote.
