Meth Bust in Antwerp Township

Two people are in jail and charges are pending on a third for maintaining a meth lab in Van Buren County. On Thursday, deputies searched a residence located in the 63-thousand block of Country Road 652 in Antwerp Township. Four individuals including a two-year old child live in the house. Located during the search was methamphetamine, packaging materials, marijuana, a HCL gas generator, illegal drug paraphernalia and two shotguns. Child Protective Services has taken over the investigation involving the two year old child. A 57-year old male and 57-year old female from Mattawan were taken to jail on multiple charges.
