If you don't have a full understanding of the financial aid process for higher education, don't sweat, Lake Michigan College is offering free workshops to help you out. The event is open to high school seniors and adults planning to attend college in the fall. "Financial Aid: Finding Your Path" will take place Tuesday, February 5th at the South Haven Campus and at the Bertrand Crossing Campus in Niles, then Wednesday, February 6th at the Napier Avenue Campus. Anne Tews is the Financial Aid Director for LMC, she says the country is going through a budget crisis, getting aid can be difficult.
The workshops begin at 7 p.m. If a student is under the age of 23, they are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian.
