After ten years on the job the President of the Berrien Community Foundation is bowing out. 56-year old Nanette Keiser is retiring at the end of June 2013. She will be full time in her current position through until then, and to ensure a smooth transition, she will be available as a consultant through the end of December. Keiser tells WSJM News its hard to pick just one thing she is proud of over her tenure.
Also during her time as President the Foundation went from $1-million to over $3-million in annual gifts received, and grew from 30 to 232 members who serve as ambassadors. Keiser and her husband Jack, who is also planning retirement, plan to travel, volunteer and sail more.
