The grief healing and education center of Hospice at Home is receiving a $25-thousand grant from The Walmart Foundation. Director of Lory's Place and Bereavement for Hospice at Home Lisa Bartoszek says they have applied for the grant for a number of years, but are only receiving it for the first time.
Bartoszek says Lory's Place will use the funds for general program services.
Lory's Place is supported solely through community donations, Bartoszek says the annual budget has been approaching $400,000 the last few years, and this grant will help out immensely.
