The imitation fog cloud near I-94 Thursday morning is gone and cleanup is complete. The Benton Township Fire Department told WSJM News a truck driver carrying liquid nitrogen, veered off the roadway and fell into an embankment near Pipestone Road, causing crews to close the highway and surrounding roads for a short period of time to let the chemical disperse into the air. The chemical is not harmful to humans or the environment but because there was so much of it, a large fog formed causing low visibility. The truck was removed around 2:00 p.m. the driver was not injured.
