If you thought Congress and the White House had all that "fiscal cliff" stuff solved last week, we've got bad news. It's coming up again next month, but Congressman Fred Upton says he doesn't think it will be the mess it was last month.
Upton says the House will be focused on finding ways to cut the spending of the federal government this time around.
He says entitlement reforms need to be examined, while still protecting benefits for those now receiving them. Upton says the number of seniors in America will grow from 50 million to 78 million by 2030, and that will put a tremendous strain on the federal government's finances.
