Pot and Hash Seizure in Porter Township

A citizens tip of illegal activity at a residence in Cass County led to the arrest of a woman in possession of marijuana and hash. Thursday morning, detectives searched a residence in the 15000 block of US-12 in Porter Township, it resulted in the seizure of pot and hash. 27-year old Melissa Goodman was at the residence while the search was conducted and taken into custody. Three children were taken from the residence by Child Protective Services. Goodman was arraigned Friday and charged with possession with intent to manufacture hash, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. She is lodged in the Cass County Jail.
