The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is inviting people to take part in the 5K Polar Bear Run on the Kal-Haven Linear Trail State Park later this month. The event will start at Driftbusters Snowmobile Club in Gobles, with registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the run kicking off an hour later. Proceeds from the race will go to the group participating in the DNR's matching funds program, which provides money to fund future improvements to the 34-mile Kal-Haven Trail.
