It was a big finish for the big three in 2012. December sales soared for Chrysler to their best levels since before the recession, up 10% compared to 2011. General Motors sales rose 4.9% and Ford posted a 1.9% percent gain. For the year, Chrysler sales grew 21%, GM up 3.7%. General Manager of LeValley Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Benton Harbor Tad Webber is upbeat on the news and ready for the new year.
Webber says the foot traffic in LeValley has been noticably higher than the last few years, he attributes that to the slow return of the economy but also the loyal customer base enjoying economic growth.
