Whirlpool's Riverview Campus in downtown Benton Harbor continues to grow. Phase Two of the project is well underway, and should be done in a few more months. Whirlpool Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs Jeff Noel says they're working to consolidate from roughly 15 different office locations in St. Joseph and Benton Harbor down to three central locations.
The project has helped to transform Main Street in Benton Harbor, and even resulted in Subway becoming the first national chain restaurant to open up in the city's downtown in decades.
The entire Riverview Campus will be LEED certified. Phase One included new innovations to help employees be more productive, which Noel says will be the same in Phase Two. WSJM News spoke to Noel at length Friday morning, and will bring you more of the interview throughout the next week.
