Meth Bust Which Started From Anonymous Tip

An anonymous tip involving a recent purchase of methamphetamine making material to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit has landed four suspects in the county jail. Thursday morning, Narcotics Detectives made contact with the occupants of a vehicle on the 38000 block of Paw Paw Road in Paw Paw Township. The 52-year old male from Hartford who had just purchased Sudafed boxes and Lithium batteries was inside. He and another male along with two females also in the car lived at the residents. A search of the house found chemicals and other meth making material, and out back was a HCL gas generator. The subjects names are being withheld pending arraignment. The case remains under investigation.
