New Veteran I.D. Cards Being Offered

Berrien County is offering Veterans I.D. cards to veterans who received an honorable or general under honorable conditions discharge from any branch of the service. The purpose of the photo I.D. card is to allow veterans to obtain discounts from various stores who offer that service to veterans. Applications for the cards can be picked up at either the County Clerk's office or the Veterans' Affairs office. A Veteran must verify his or her service by presenting an original of his or her military discharge papers along with a current driver's license or state I.D. There is a $10 fee for the I.D. card which will cover the cost of the photograph and the processing of the card.
