Michigan Works! is planning to hold a pair of workshops this month in Dowagiac for people looking to start or expand their business. Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center Business Consultant Bob Jones says they held the same meetings recently in Benton Harbor and had a great turnout.
The first workshop is Wednesday, January 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Michigan Works! office in Dowagiac. That forum is free and will give answers to basic questions about starting a business.

A second workshop will be Wednesday, January 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. That event will cost $35, and registration is required for both. You can get signed up by calling 269-387-6004.
