That's Benton Harbor City Commissioner Mary Alice Adams at last night's special commissioners meeting. A discussion of financial records was a topic that was hit on pretty hard by the Commission. Commissioner Duane Seats went into detail.

At the end of the meeting, Commissioner Trenton Bowens introduced a city tax, it would be imposed on anyone who works within the city but does not reside there. A small solution that will have to wait, since the Commission does not have the authority to do so while under an emergency manager.
