Proos Says Right To Work Protests Unlike Any He Has Seen

Emotions are running high and raw in Lansing as the state House and Senate both prepare to vote on right-to-work legislation. State Senator John Proos tells WSJM it's surreal and unlike anything he's seen at the Capitol.

Listen:

Proos supports the right-to-work legislation, and says the state's hand was forced by actions in Indianapolis earlier this year.

Listen:

Democrats in the Legislature do not have enough votes to prevent the bills from passing, and several have admitted on the House floor this afternoon they know the legislation will be passed and sent on to Governor Snyder despite the protests. On Wednesday, an estimated 25-hundred people protested the right-to-work bills, and another thousand are there today.
