Bangor To Hold Public Forum

Repair the current police building or get up and move into a different structure, that's the question the city of Bangor is currently pondering. After Monday night's council meeting the commission has decided to hold a public forum to help with the decision. Bangor City Manager Joe Sobieralski says the purpose of the forum is simple.

The issues has been lingering for about five years, the options have been whittled down to leasing and renovating the Chicken Chalet building for roughly $300,000, or repair the Division Street headquarters, where estimated costs vary. The public forum will take place January 16th at 7:00p.m. location is pending.
