Bypass Parkway Rollover

Two Berrien Springs residents are in the hospital after a rollover accident on St. Joe Valley Parkway. A car driven by 21-year old Zalika Thompson, with 22-year old Nickisha Thompson as the as her passenger, was northbound on US-31 when she left the roadway, entered the median and rolled over stopping near the southbound lanes of traffic. The Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police and Fire Departments assisted at the scene. Initial investigation appears Thompson was distracted while driving. Both the driver and passenger were taken to Lakeland Medical Center for treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
