Berrien County Road Commission Chairman Bob Forker has passed away. Forker was 84 years old and had been on the road commission since 1982. WSJM News has been told he died this morning from complications following elective surgery last week. He was briefly unseated earlier this year as chairman during the controversy that erupted from whistleblower accusations against former managing director Rhonda Hildebrand and two other managers, but was reinstated to lead the BCRC when the man who replaced him resigned and two others were removed by the Berrien County Board of Commissioners.
