Dozens Of Headstones Vandalized In Dowagiac

The search is on for those responsible of damages at Riverside Cemetery. On Monday, Dowagiac Police were contacted by the City of Dowagiac Public Works crew who were in the cemetery for maintenance and cleanup. The crew located several damaged headstones then contacted police. Officers say approximately 61 headstones were damaged or removed from their bases, as well as other items, like flowerpots.
