Mayor Robert Judd Not Seeking Reelection In St. Joseph

The title of "Mayor" will soon be held by someone new in St. Joseph. The "Herald-Palladium" reports St. Joseph Mayor Robert Judd informed fellow commissioners at a recent dinner he will not be running for reelection in 2013. The 71-year old Judd says he wants to spend and make more time for family. The mayor says he doesn't plan on coasting through the rest of his term, but rather continuing to make St. Joseph a great community. Judd has been a commissioner since 1997, and mayor since 2007. In total, there will be three City Commission seats on the ballot next year.
