Lakeshore High School's Mitch Bancroft is topping off his high school football career with Associated Press all-state honors. The safety was the Lancers' leading tackler this year with 96 and helped to lead them to an undefeated regular season before they lost in the playoffs to Grand Rapids Christian, who play for the state title in Division 3 Saturday at Ford Field. Lakeshore coach Denny Dock was also named the co-coach of the year for Division 3-4 by the Associated Press. Dearborn Heights Robichaud coach Keith Stephens shares the award with Dock this year.
