2013 Cook Plant Calendars Going Out

Starting today, look for the new Cook Nuclear Plant Emergency Information Calendar in your mailbox. The 2013 Emergency Information Calendar is being mailed to 83,000 homes and businesses in Berrien County, and residents should expect to receive them over the next two weeks. The calendar includes info on what to do if a serious incident at the plant, a weather related natural disaster or any other emergency happens affecting the county. This year's calendar features monthly photos that were chosen from a contest held on the Cook Facebook page called "Take Your Best Shot." More than five-hundred scenes of Berrien County were submitted by amateur and professional photographers. Past calendars have featured local pics from longtime Cook calendar photographer Don Ames, who passed away this year. A tribute to Ames is included in this year's calendar.
