Gas Prices Shoot Higher By 35 Cents Per Gallon



Gasoline prices are on the rise, again. A spike in prices today pushed some stations to nearly $3.70 per gallon. Senior Petroleum Analyst for GasBuddy.com Patrick DeHaan says wholesale prices rose on Wall Street last week and it was only a matter of time before local stations adjusted their numbers. Once local profits return, prices may stabilize.

A recent report by Triple-A said a significant jump in gasoline prices would not be the case before the Thanksgiving holiday, DeHaan noted the Great Lakes region is a wild card and that was only speculation.
