Sodus Township Installs New Veterans Memorial

A new veterans memorial is in place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus Township. The unveiling happened Thursday, it's made up of two towering pieces of black granite with one pentagon-shaped slab lay on the ground. Emblems from each U.S. Military branch are sculpted onto the grounded piece. St. Joe Monument Works and Hasse's Crane Service took part in the construction.
