Early Election Results

Early results across Michigan are coming back with a resounding 'don't mess with the Constitution' message. Propositions 2 through 6, all calling for consitutional amendments, are being handily defeated. Proposal 1, the Emergency manager measure is too close to call. Debbie Stabenow has declared victory in her US Senate race with Pete Hoekstra. President Obama has been declared the winner over native son Mitt Romney in the presidential race. And while we don't have any definitive results in the Upton - O'Brien race, there was some excitement at GOP headquarters in St Joe when Supermodel Kate Upton showed up in support of her Uncle Fred.
