If you live in Benton Harbor and want to know more about the four people running for the school board next week, you'll get that chance on Thursday night. Alloyd Blackmon says the Benton Harbor Leadership Caucus is holding a town hall forum for the candidates and the public.
It will be held at the Virginia Edwards Community Center at 721 Nate Wells Senior Drive from 6 to 7:30 p.m. School Board President Anthony Jett has committed to being there along with Pastor Willie Lark, and it's believed the other two candidates will also attend. They are Lisa Gulley and Joseph Taylor. Blackmon says no endorsements will be made by the Benton Harbor Leadership Caucus and the forum is just to ensure a more informed electorate.
