A Halloween blood drive is being held today by the Red Cross in Benton Harbor. Great Lakes Blood Services Region spokesman Todd Kulman says the need for those blood donations is constant, and has been increased with Hurricane Sandy's effects this week.
The blood drive will be held at Celebration Cinema from noon to 5:45 tonight. You can still register by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, but the online registration has closed. Registration is still being taken online for a blood drive at the same time at Lake Michigan College in South Haven without the prize package.
