Get your spandex and Aqua Net hair spray ready. The Hard Rock Cafe in New Buffalo is holding an "80s Costume Contest" Friday and Saturday nights as a fundraiser. Brant Coulter is Director of Hard Rock Operations at Four Winds New Buffalo and tells WSJM News the finalists will be voted on by Facebook fans of the restaurant through October 31.
There are a few ground rules. You have to be at least 21 years old, and the costumes cannot include masks, face paint or any real or fake weapons. There is a $5 cover charge as part of the fundraiser, along with drink specials. $500 in cash and prizes will be awarded.
