The Berrien County Road Commission is again a five-member board. Tim Lynch, Mike Kastner and Jess Minks were added to the organization Thursday morning by the Berrien County Board of Commissioners, with Russ Costanza's time ending. Costanza told WSJM he has some advice for the revamped Road Commission after his brief time serving.
Costanza served for about a month on the Road Commission after the county board removed Larry Merritt and Chuck Collins following the resignation of Road Commission Chairman Louis Gibson. The changes were prompted by what county elected officials perceived inaction and ineptness following the whistleblower accusations of a hostile work environment under three managers who are no longer on the job.
