You likely won't be finding state Senator John Proos voting in favor of Proposal Three next month. That's the proposal to require 25-percent of all electricity in Michigan come from renewable sources by 2025, which the St. Joseph Republican says is misguided and a threat to the state constitution.
Proos told WSJM's Pat Moody state lawmakers have already agreed on a ten-percent standard by 2015, and they need the flexibiltiy to adjust as needed to new technology and better ways of creating power. He says if it's in the constitution, that wiggle room for the Legislature is gone.
