Consumers Energy crews are working to restore power to around 45-hundred customers in Van Buren County. Spokesman Terry DeDoes says a tree fell on a transmission line shortly after 11 a.m. today, knocking out the electricity.
Lawrence Public Schools closed early, as did the Van Buren ISD.
