Two Democrats running for Congress and the state House will hold a town hall event Friday night in Benton Harbor to discuss the ballot proposals that will be before us in November. Jim Hahn and Mike O'Brien will hold the meeting at the Citadel from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Hahn, who is running for the state House against incumbent Republican Al Pscholka, says a lot of people are confused by the ballot proposals.
Other ballot proposals include repealing Public Act 4, putting collective bargaining rights into the state constitution and establish a standard that 25-percent of all electric power in the state be generated by renewable sources by 2025.
