Three New Buffalo residents are facing drug dealing charges after a bust Wednesday night in the 400 block of West Buffalo Street. The Berrien County Sheriff's Department says the arrests were the result of a two-week investigation after neighbors tipped them off about suspected drug activity at an apartment. Officers took 24-year-old Travis Forker, 19-year-old Alexis Pettke and a 17-year-old male into custody. All three face drug dealing charges, while Pettke and Forker are also charged with maintaining a drug house. Police from the sheriff's department, New Buffalo City, New Buffalo Township and the Pokagon Tribal Police collaborated for the arrests and found $500 worth of marijuana and other narcotics evidence. It's not known yet if the 17-year-old suspect will be charged as an adult or a juvenile. His name has not been released.
