The organization Lest We Forget wants to find Berrien County's oldest military veteran. President Don Alsboro said it may be Tom Farry, the father-in-law of Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey.
Alsbro says if you know of any veterans who are around the century mark, please contact him at (269) 921-7176 or any member of Lest We Forget. Tom Sparks had been the oldest vet in the county, but passed away last year at the age of 104. Lest We Forget will honor the veterans on Veterans Day next month with their 2012 Patriotic Program and concert at the Mendel Center.
