It's five years in prison for an Edwardsburg arsonist. 23-year-old Adam Sheneman was sentenced today in Cassopolis and also ordered to pay 712-thousand dollars in restitution for setting Midwest Timber in the Edwardsburg Industrial Complex on fire in February. He pled guilty to the charges and has served 234 days in the Cass County Jail. At his sentencing hearing, Sheneman told the judge he's learned his lesson and didn't want to go to prison, but that was denied. He and co-defendant Connor Lee used diesel fuel on the fire, which did extensive damage. Sheneman said he never meant to hurt anyone in committing the crime.
