Drug Bust In Watervliet

Neighbors had complained about alleged drug dealing activity at an apartment in the 300 block of Pleasant Street in Watervliet, and the couple who lived in the unit are now behind bars. Officers from Watervliet, the Berrien County Sheriff's Department and the FBI arrested Cassell Blakely and Jamara Duncan this morning on a list of charges. Duncan was wanted on outstanding warrants out of Auburn Hills as well as Berrien and Van Buren Counties and she is facing marijuana possession charges. Blakely is charged with second offenses of heroin possession, possession with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house. Police found about 500-dollars worth of heroin in the apartment along witih a small amount of marijuana.
