Work will begin later this month to tear down the old North Side Marina Clubhouse in South Haven. City Manager Brian Dissette tells us they've been working on the improvements to the area for quite some time.
Demolition will start on October 15th at the end of this year's boating season, and Dissette says their plans are to have the new facility open by Memorial Day next year. No city money is being spent on this project, as South Haven received a grant from the Department of Natural Resources and what that didn't cover, the city's marina fund will.
