NRC Still Finalizing Report Into Palisades CRDM Leak

There remains some head scratching at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission over how a leak formed in a control rod drive mechanism at the Palisades nuclear power plant this summer. Jack Giessner of the NRC says a leak eleven years ago prompted a complete overhaul of that equipment.

Giessner says they are still working on their official report into the leak.
