Whirlpool_ LG Settle Patent Disputes

Years of lawsuits between Whirlpool and South Korea's LG Electronics are now over. The two companies reached a settlement last week on several patent violation lawsuits, and three pending cases in federal court in Delaware and New Jersey have been dismissed. Details on the end of the lawsuits were not released. Benton Harbor-based Whirlpool is the world's largest appliance maker.
