Lakeshore football coach Denny Dock is being honored by the Detroit Lions. He is this week's Detroit Lions High School Coach of the Week, with the Lancers sporting and undefeated 5-0 record and ranked fourth in the Associated Press poll.
Dock is in his 25th season as the Lancers head coach and has won 248 games over his career. Lakeshore has been to the playoffs 16 times under him, with a current streak of 14 consecutive years in the postseason. Dock also has six state titles as manager of Lakeshore's girls softball team.
