The Stray Dog To Reopen In 2013 In New Buffalo

Look for the Stray Dog Bar & Grill to be back in New Buffalo. The popular restaurant burned down in July, and crews are still working to clean up the site. Once that is done, the owners plan to rebuild their business with the goal of being open again in the spring of 2013. The Stray Dog's owners are seeking a parking variance from the zoning board and Planning Commission as part of their rebuilding plans, and that will be taken up in meetings of both of those boards next week. An electrical problem sparked the fire in July that destroyed the restaurant.
