BH City Commission Honors Chet Walker

Basketball legend Chet Walker received an honor from the Benton Harbor City Commission this week. On Monday, the commission unanimously approved a proclamation to express its appreciation for Walker's achievements. He played basketball for Benton Harbor High School in the late 50s, and then went on to a long NBA career. Just this month, Walker was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he spoke with Benton Harbor students this Tuesday at the high school. Walker's also part of the Real Men Wear Pink breast cancer awareness campaign this year.
