The Van Buren County Sheriffs Department says that it's arrested three brothers for breaking into the house of a deceased person and stealing a bunch of collectable items. It all started in August, when the Volenski brothers -- John, Steven, and Michael -- were pulled over in Portage. Police at the time found a large amount of trading cards, coins, stamps, and bobbleheads in their vehicle, along with an address in Van Buren County. Portage notified the Van Buren Sheriffs Department about that address, and when deputies checked it out, they found that it was for an abandoned home. Further investigation found that the person who'd lived there died about three years ago, and that the Volenskis had recently broken into the place. They pawned off some of the coins and other collectibles. Now, they face charges of breaking and entering and receiving stolen property, among other things. All three have now been arraigned in Van Buren County District Court.
