ACLU Launches Voters Rights Campaign

A new campaign has been launched by the ACLU of Michigan to educate citizens on their voting rights ahead of the November elections. Staff attorney Dan Korobkin says that Let Me Vote is designed to remind people that they don't actually need a photo ID to cast a ballot. Everyone's urged to go to aclumich.org/letmevote to see the rules:

There's also an app being launched for the young folks to look at on their phones. That can be found at aclumich.org/studentvoting . Korobkin says that poor voters, as well as minorities and the elderly are the most likely to be affected by voter restriction laws, so the message is being aimed at them.
