Lakeshore School Board Talks Next Bond Request

Leaders at Lakeshore Schools are pushing forward with another bond proposal. This week, the board of education gave initial approval to a set of goals that will help it determine exactly how the request will look. According to The Herald Palladium, the new goals include implementing "state of the art technology"...establishing "strong collaboration" between the district and the public...and improving communication "between stakeholders." The approval of those goals came after a series of sessions that included dozens of people from around the community and a team set up by the school board to review what could go into another facilities improvement bond. The team will tell the school board by December whether it's recommending the pursuit of such a request from voters.
