This week, Democrats get their turn in the spotlight at their convention during which President Obama will be nominated for a second term. Bob Miller is the co-chairman of the Berrien County Democratic Party and is in Charlotte, North Carolina for the event and talked to WSJM about what he's hoping to come back home with.
In 2008, then-Senator Obama won Berrien County over Republican nominee John McCain. Michigan overall has not voted for a Republican for President since George H.W. Bush beat Democrat Michael Dukakis in 1988. The Democratic National Convention runs through Thursday.
