South Haven Man Accused Of Using GPS To Stalk Ex



The Van Buren County Sheriff's Department says a 62-year-old South Haven man is facing several charges including stalking for allegedly placing a GPS on a former girlfriend's vehicle. Clarence Piercey was arraigned this week and faces up to two years in jail if convicted of both the stalking and illegally installing a tracking device charges. The victim told police Piercey had begun to randomly show up at places where she was, and said his behavior had become more aggressive. When police went to his home to discuss the situation, they found a laptop computer running GPS tracking software and found him hiding in the laundry room. Piercey has posted bond.
